Hi there ...new to Weavolution...and new to this AVL 40" home loom...have had lots of loom...but this is the first AVL...Does anyone here have one...I would like to know how to keep the side tie-up 'thingys' from getting hung up on each other.....I have spent days tearing this loom apart and putting it back together ...with my modifications, of course..spacers between all the pulleys and lamms...some adjustments to the heddle height...this one has the full frame harness w/ inserted eye heddles...any suggestions will be helpful....JLR

This has been a long road to fixing my AVL home loom....the wrong heddle cables were sent to the original owner....too many e-mails to Peter Straus...AVL was only willing to sell me the correct cables at a reduced cost...round and round...a descent into AVL HE!!...what fun!!!..Finally an idea...I used texsolv loop cord in place of the cables and it worked. I could bash AVL [and I might at some point in time] but their first and foremost objective is MONEY...there is always a way to fix these looms without paying the high price..and that I just my point...Hey...these looms aren't rocket science and lots of the parts on my loom are directly from a hardware store and even from a fishing and tackle supply company..I even found a local rigging company that will configure the actual wire cable [if that's what you choose] for an unbelievable price....If you contact me by PM...I will furnish their contact info....What a learning lesson this has been...JR
