This Forum is available for Colorado Guilds to post upcoming events, guild related topics, etc.
Where: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Meets: 2nd Friday of each month, Sept. through May
The Rocky Mountain Weavers Guild is very active. I was there last Saturday to give the program. People reported on many aspects of this guild and there was a nice show and tell portion. Towels were being exchanged and people were anticipating the luncheon and fashion show next month. There are four workshops planned for next year and they sound quite good, all from Colorado teachers.
I had 19 weavers in my Big Twill workshop because the 20th person was stuck in London, waiting for a flight back. The 19 asked some very good questions and wove a lot of samples. We really had fun together.
Bonnie Inouye, now back in Maryland but planning to be in the Colorado cabin by the end of May.
And I can attest that Bonnie's workshop was great! Thanks Bonnie.
I will be giving a Kumihimo demonstration at Colorado Weavers Day in Boulder May 15. For info, check the Boulder Guild web site:
PS: Hugs to Miss Sweetpea :-)
