Silvia Heyden, tapestry artist and subject of the documentary film "A Weaverly Path," passed away a few days ago.   I wrote a bit about the few visits I had at her home in 2009 at my blog post yesterday and have updated it this morning with a more thoughts.  Her legacy for weavers should be a long one.  The main things I take from her example is to be true to one's own vision--and to continue to work to make the vision reality. http://tapestry13.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-passing-of-great-one-silvia-heyden.html
