So I'm on my last sample, one I affectionately call 'The Anklebreaker'.  Task is to weave a 'rug weight sampler with showing a combination of textures and pile heights'.  My friend who passed the COE last cycle made the mistake of saying the the 'use of the textile' was a rug. Logical enough since they ask for rug weight.  The comments -- it would be hard to walk on a rug with that many rug heights and textures. Well, yea. So mine will be a wall hanging. But I'm realizing there's a reason this one is last...

Then there's yardage. I 'm going to do M's and O's for toweling, maybe at table runner. 16/2 cotton with 16 line linen weft.

I had to totally reinvent the wheel for my terry cloth sample, not until I was done did I stumble across a Handwoven article with detailed instruction. Oh well!!

Isn't that always the way Marie! I still have 2, I had a bit of techdnical difficulties with the loom they are on. I'm hoping Oliver can sort it out this weekend, so I can fishish those. Then I'll review my portfolio layout, notes, etc.

Have fun weaving your last sample and your yardage!

That's great Inga Marie! Congratulations on heading down the final stretch!

So which Handwoven mag talks about terry cloth?
