Just became the proud owner of a lovely 45" 8 shaft walnut Loomcraft loom. She was built in the early 80's and is in need of new reeds and more heddles. Wondering what size heddles to order for her, I measured the heddles from the top of the heddle to the middle of the eye - 5" - tip to tip measures 10" - do 10" heddles exist?
Believe the new reeds should measure 46.5" x 5" - the loom came with three different sizes of rusty carbon reeds - all of which I will replace with stainless.
Any help or documentation for this loom will be most appreciated.
