Very nice imagery!

But I'm curious.   You said this is a shaft draw, but looking at the image, it looks more like a single unit draw pattern.  Wouldn't it have been easier to set it up as a single unit draw?

I'm also a little confused that you say it's 11 cm wide, but list the sett in terms of inches.  Is that correct?

This is really beautiful, fine work.  I'd be interested in the inspiration for the image if you care to share that.

*Sally, it's 70 pattern shafts, one pattern repeat. I don't have a single unit draw system 'though I often wish I did.

*I  wander between metric and the other system. Length and width are usually metric but epi, like my height and weight, is always what I grew up with. It usually works out, in the end.

* The way shadows fold around corners and over other surfaces fascinates me. We often spend part of the winter in Jamaica and the intense light outside and the shadows inside, through shutters and blinds, was the jumping-off point for this and a number of other pieces.

I would love to see more of your work.  Do you have other pieces you could show us?
