I am selling my 40 cm Louet Jane. I bought it last year from its first owner, who put on PLENTY of extra Texsolv, then didn't have time to use it. The loom is in pretty much mint condition - except that it was missing one of the bolt assemblies that holds the loom onto the stand. At the recommendation of The Woolery (whose floor model Jane was also missing a bolt assembly), I replaced the missing assembly with the hardware store equivalent. This means that one set is metric and the other BE/Imperial, but you'd have to bend over and look REALLY hard to notice.
She has two extra (non-Louet) reeds.
The loom comes with the stand. This provides the option of mounting the back beam in a lower position on the stand, and opens the way to much longer warps than the Jane alone can support.
This is a great little 8 shaft loom, and she folds down (off the stand) to the size of a suitcase, fully warped. Great for workshops, or people with tiny houses (me).
The 40 cm Jane retails for $1145 and the stand for $295.
I am asking $800. Pickup in Central Ohio (Columbus) or we could meet somewhere. This loom can also ship; buyer's expense.
Please give this lovely little loom a good home. It's not her fault that I'm just too much in love with Swedish looms.
