I check in periodically when I have some time to browse.  I'm in the North Bay with locations in Mendocino and Sonoma (Santa Rosa), where are you located? The California Wool and Fiber Festival concluded recently in Philo ( I posted it here under Events) were you able to go?

I'm in Berkeley and looking for local folks who weave and spin.  My knitting buddies just can't make the leap.

Hi April,

There are several groups in the East Bay.  Spindles and Flyers is very active and does general fiber arts (I think); you'll often find them demoing at Maker Faire.  Diablo Weavers is also quite active, but they meet during the weekday so I only visited with them once.

Try Googling them; if you don't come up with contact info, let me know and I'll dig up a contact for you.
