The day started out with heavy rain and the weather radio going off at 5:45am tell us we were under a severe thunder warning and tornado watch was extended untill 1:00pm (great!) Not a good way to start off a craft show. By 10:00am the rain had moved away leaving a windy and overcast sky. A few tents and a number of displays got blow down. By 1:00pm the sun was out but it was still very windy. Vicki Allen a weaver here on Weavolution stopped by to say hi, It was a nice visit. Later that evening we had to go to a awards show for "Georgia in Bloom". One of Cheryl's handwoven scarves won a first place ribbon and a cash award in the textile division.
