Not only a great project, but a great photo! 

When finished, we expect to see an additional photo of the dogs enjoying the finished article! (The throw may match the sofa, but does it match the dogs?)

I laughed so hard when I saw your comment.  The dogs are both white - a miniture poodle and a papillon.  I promise that I will post a picture of the finished product on the sofa with the dogs looking out the window.

Looks like a good match to me--both dog and throw would be warm and comforting on a cold, winter day. The cotton shows the texture very well (I'm referring to the throw now...)

I'm making this to throw over the back of our sofa where our dogs sit to look out the front window.  The colors match the sofa.

12.5 single heddle, double threaded with pick up stick on every other slot on a 5 row repeating pattern:

1 - heddle up
2 - heddle neutral with pick up stick
3 - heddle up
4 - heddle down
5 - heddle up with pick up stick
