I remember that workshop with the Harmony guild. Good group! I have a series of threadings and drafts made by the group. Your new scarves are very pretty, Virginia.

Thank you, Bonnie! I'm only able to design projects like this because of fabulous teachers like you. Virginia

This is the second scarf on the same tencel warp from Just Our Yarn (see the Hooks and Eyes scarf for the other one). I wanted to do a networked twill to show off that gorgeous orange. However, that meant re-threading and re-sleying and it also meant I needed more warp threads. I just had enough yarn left to pull out the warp and tie on 32 additional threads, for a total of 224 ends, sett at 30 epi, giving me 7.5". The pattern is a networked twill developed by the group in a class with Bonnie Inouye. I called it the Harmony draft after the host guild, so the scarf is "Harmony Fire". The weft is 10/2 bamboo in eggplant. I took hardly any notes on this so now I don't remember much. Somehow, I have written down that the threading repeat is 36 ends, whereas the entire threading repeat is 60 ends, so I must have used just a portion of the threading but cannot for the life of me remember more than that. Sigh.

Anyway, the scarf is shimmery and very drapey!
