During the dwell time, am I suppose to keep stirring the fiber in the dyebath? Or do i just leave it be?

Thanks.

The dreaded answer: it depends.   do the goods look even? is there dye left in the dyebath?

If it looks even and most of the dye has already attached to the fiber, stirring won't do much good.   The most important time to move the goods is when the dye is attaching to the fiber.  Look at your notes now and plunge the skeins twice as often in that temperature range and then half as often in the dwell time.

I hope this helps.
