Nice scarf, particularly like the contrast with checkered textured squares.

I have tried to make an alternate checkered bracelet on a mapuche/frame loom unsuccessfully, could you tell me which loom to use or how to make please?

You might enjoy trying a Rigid Heddle loom.  You can weave with it on your lap.  It's a good way to start breaking into larger weaving projects.
