Is the coat double weave or lined with the grey fabric?   In any case it looks very warm and cozy.

It´s a kind of double-binding on 4 shafts and 8 treadles. I´ll try to add it to the drafts later. This binding gives a cloth with two different coloured sides.

The coat is not lined exept for the collar. It´s a simple design from Burda modemagasin with a lose fit and easy to made.

We have had a long period of temperatures colder than -20C now so I can say it´s warm and cosy!

Det er en rigtig lækker jakke, dejligt stof og en flot, flot finish!!

That is a beautiful fabric.  I too would be interested in the draft as well as the yarns you used etc.  How did you finish the fabric - you tag it as vadmal so I assume it was fulled?

Did you use wool for weft and warp? I´m thinking about a doublefaced weave with felting finish for a  coat.

Maybe you can add the draft??

Here is one double-faced structure (1:st draft on page) - use it for making your own; it should give you an idea of how to proceed.

Notes

The cloth is doubleface but the jacket is not made to bee used insideout. Magnets are used as "buttoms".
