Seeing tapestry weaving in action is sort of hard to come by, outside of attending a major conference or seeing an exhibit put on by the Tapestry Alliance at Convergence '08 (and then they wouldn't let photos be taken!) 

Thanks so much for posting! Tapestry is one of those areas of weaving that doesn't always get equal time in the publications, and I appreciate seeing more of it!

Beautiful and delicate!

I know all te swirls and spirals take so much time but they are totally worth it!  They give so much energy and movement to the tree as though it is truly dancing in the breeze.  or the illusion of heat readiating fromt he ground.  Neat.  :)
