I just purchased WIF-NProof for my IPad2. I have been using drafts from A Weaver's Book of 8-Shaft Patterns From the Friends of Handwoven. Can you tell me where to find WIF files for these drafts?

I don't believe there are files available online for the patterns from this book.  In the full version of WIF 'n Proof, you can enter any draft and save it as a WIF file to use within the program or to export to a friend or your computer.  You are, I believe, still working with the demo version, which will not allow you to save the file.

I sent an e-mail last night asking if the IPad app can be downloaded from the same link a the IPhone and ITouch.

Helen S

Yes, and I replied that it is a separate program with a different link.  I also, at your request, sent you a PayPal invoice for the difference in price between the two apps.  Perhaps you did not receive it?

Yes, I did receive the invoice, but thought you had already withdrawn the money. I will make the payment when I get home tonight.

Sorry for the confusion.  I cannot automatically withdraw money from your, or anyone elses, account.  But I see you have sent the payment, so the link is on its way.

Sassy Lassie

My Super sweet hubby just gave me my Christmas present early!!! an iPad2 and put Wif n Proof on it for me! I have just joined this group so am totally new to this. Please forgive if some of my questions are less than stellar. Where can I get a few drafts to play around with? Will there be a designing program in the future? Any help and suggestions are very welcome. Thanks! Sassy Lassie

Hi Sassy

You are going to love your iPad2!  WIF 'n Proof does already include a design section, so you can start drafting now.  Two good sources for WIF files are Weavezine and Handweaving.net.  How to import these WIF files is described in the manual.  If you do not already have it, download it here.  It will help you with all parts of the app.
