I noticed that Oprah uses webex when interviewing off site people. She has a full screen image which looks fairly good. The other night, if I tried to make a bigger photo image of the students, the resolution was awful. Does anyone have any ideas how she does this? Or suggestions for us to not have to look at the class with the postage size people!

I'm on a MacBook Pro - it was purchased in 2010 so I don't think it's my computer!

Thanks.

Mary,

There are tons of help topics at webex.com.  If you have to sign in to use them, please do.  I discovered a setting today for bandwidth and frames/sec.  There are also settings for screen size.

I wonder if quality of webcam influences the issue, too.

i am sure the web cam makes a difference and the settings would too. But it also will make a difference what the students have on their computer.  I upgraded my webcam -- and some of my children can see a change and some cannot.

I believe you bandwidth may also be factor.

One thing I find works well is to undock the video, or float the window in a Mac and you can have it at 100% or 200% and you can place it directly under your webcam and give eye contact to the people you're talking to.

give it a try and let us know.
