Good Luck with deciding what to do with these yarns!

Do keep us posted with your progress...!!

The weft shows very little, mostly at the selvage where it turns around.  So you can get the neatest looking selvages by using the weft the same color (even the same yarn) as the warp thread at the selvage.

Unfortunately, the selvedges will be different colors.  As I'm using up some of my stash, I thought I'd try the "anthracite" colored yarn (grey-brown) I have in the warp, even though only one selvedge is that color.  I've got a surplus of that color yarn.

I also thought I might try a thicker yarn for the weft.  Would that cause problems?

I'm still warping.  I can't sit for too long at a time threading heddles.

Notes

Well - At this point I've given up doing this project.  I think my problem is that I simply have too many threads per inch.  This warp was a real bear to wind on, and weaving is impossible.  Now I have to decide what to do with this warp.  Do I just scrap the whole thing?  Seems like a waste even though the yarn was given to me at no cost.  Maybe I'll sell the loom with the warp on and start from scratch with a new loom.  Just kidding.

What a fiasco!
