Hi,

a few hours ago, I cam home with a rather old Macomber CP11. All the parts are there plus some spare parts I have yet to identify and I am just so happy with this little baby. The loom is so cute and has just the right size for my appt. Now I will read through Sarah Haskell's blog and collect the infos on restoring it. All metal parts are slightly rusty, but nothing's broken and everything seems sound. I will need some new screws, though. Some of the old ones look a bit dingy. And there are some parts of the wood that need to be buffed up. I still have a small 4 harness loom from a German maker, so I won't be w/o loom while restoring the little one.

happy in Southern Germany and hoping to get some help with her new loom

Good luck with your little CP.  I spent several weeks this fall working on one that was in pretty sad shape when I got it.  You can do it.

We have a few people working on Macombers here. Connie is just about done with her labor of love. If you like you can post the pictures of the parts and we will try and ID them for you.
