I have a long warp on my loom and am making towels. I want to take some of my finished work off the cloth beam and re-tie to complete the rest of the towels. What is the best way to do this to preserve the greatest amount of remaining warp?

Try a two-stick heading - or do it the "cheaper" way: some glue (behind your cutting line), instert one stick. after glue has dried, cut and then lash the one stick to the apron rod.
