Could any one tell me what this means? It appear in the context of a threading draft and I'm guessing it might mean repeat x number of times, except it occasionally appeared without an accompanying number. Thanks for any help.

As you guessed, it usually means "times" (abbr of "gånger" - 1 gång = one time, x gånger = x times).  Withour a number, either it is an error (number omitted), or an error (1 gång is sometimes abbreviated 1 ggn) - or it is a mystery :-)

Tack så mycket! I'm developing a great vocabulary but I'll only be able to talk to Swedish weavers, she says laughingly. Guess that means I need to save up for that dreamed-of trip to Sweden. :-)
