Okay! I guess the "old Card" post has no answers! I'll tell you what I'll do, is just try 'em myself and then report back!! Meanwhile, I'm about to start one of the projects from the Staudigal book "Tablet Weaving Magic" using (if it works) silk thread. Anyone tried this? I wondered if using (making) smaller cards would be better for this super-fine thread, or if that doesn't matter. This is pure silk thread, on the spools from the quilting store -- size 100. Any input is appreciated!!

I don't think smaller cards will work better.  After all, you don't use a smaller loom for finer threads!

In fact, I have a card weaving book (unknown tablet weaving) that suggests larger cards and holes on the sides rather than in the corners. I haven't tried it yet, however.
