Hi Karren,

Would you kindly go over the instructions for polar red? Or are we simply making our dyebath ph5 rather than ph4.5?

Working at pH 5.0-5.5 is a compromise that both Lanaset and Polar Red can live with.  The exhaust will not be as good for either one as it would be under the best conditions, but we can live with that.

Start at pH 5.0 and make sure it finishes at 5.5 or below.  More of an issue when Lanaset is present.  Doing just Polar Red should be straight forward.  Give it extra time in the cool down and then let it dry for at least 24hrs. before washing it.
