The Merino scarf sample is on the loom! I broke the design into four squares, a vertical float block, a horizontal float block and two blocks of plain weave. The threading is on 8 shafts, each block repeats 8 times for a total of 16 ends (yes - my floats are very long).
The plan is to wash and full the wool so that the floats bind a little and the shrinkage creates a pattern.
