HI.  I am new to weavolution and it looks like a great place to get info.  i have an opportunity to purchase a Macomber B-5 24" weaving width,8 harness used loom.  If anyone has pros and cons to this loom,I would greatly appreciate your feedback and input.  How many harnesses can be controlled with one treadle?  I have only owned one loom, a 45" pendelton.   thanks

are a work horse. They are the loom of choice for most universities with weaving problems. On your 24/8 inch loom you can control all of them with one threadle. The 24 is a great small loom and you can weave rugs to fine silk on this loom.
