The live weight tension beam is dressed with a warp! I found when beaming, if I added a little weight suspended by a small bungee it gave just the right resistance toallow the beam to turn but hold the warp beam in place. Now I have two beams on my loom, the live weight tension beam will allow me to advance the warp without getting up from the loom and is perfect for some of the more delicate yarns I will be using. The beam has an apron made of cotton duck.
