Hello Weaver Friends!  I have recently become the owner of a "new-to-me" J Made Loom.  It is so beautiful black walnut 12 Shaft, 14 Treadle Loom.  60" weaving width. Double back beam-one sectional one regular. (photo attached)  The cloth beam and the back beams have "worm gear" tension. I am completely excited about this feature.  However, I am wondering if there might be a way to dis-engage this feature?  It takes FOURTY turns of the crank to rotate the cloth beam ONE complete rotation. My arm is going to fall all beaming 9 yards of warp.  Does anyone have any suggestions, or other J Made Loom owners have suggestions on how to handle this?  I love this loom, and looking forward to getting it to perform to a high level.
