I have lots of technical how to tapestry books but now I'm looking for something else. I want to build a tapestry resource library which describes different kinds of tapestries, hopefully how they are made, from basic to more complex, ethnic, old to contemporary, etc. I know in floor loom weaving there some wonderful additions to the library once past the how to set up your loom phase. So, I'm asking for suggestions, what's in your library that you turn to?

Cathy, I have many books... I'm not at home now to mention a few titles. But I have a library thing account... maybe you might be able to access that. Tommye

This isn't a book but this tapestry organization offers many teaching & article resources. http://www.americantapestryalliance.org/Education/Edu_Articles.html
