Sounds great, Erica. Let's do it!

Great I look forward to sharing our journies! How often would everyone like to meet?

It seems several people are setting monthly goals. Once a quarter? Once a month?

ingamarie

I'm not sure about the actual meeting, but it would be nice to have a Group where we can ask ongoing questions, I think that would be more useful for me actually for now. I don't know about the others.

Hello CoE participants,

As we have the green light to go ahead with the CoE Study Group, please contact me if you would like to join. We should decide how often we want to me. As we're looking at a variety of time zones, I'm thinking weekends are probably best. One weekend a month to start?

If you've taken a Cyber Fiber class, we'll be using the same system. When you contact me please let me know if you have a Cyber Fiber log in. If you don't we'll just have to generate a log in on the system for you.

I'd like to get started in February. Folks can join any time.

Cheers,

Erica

I'm interested. Monthly is fine.  I have the backwards schedule of everyone else.. weekdays are best for me. But I can make it work.

I've used Cyber -Fiber although a long time ago.

I tried the link to join the study group, but it brought up a page that said i was denied access? And I tried to search for the group with no luck. Any suggestions?

I'll add you, we are discussing the pros and cons of public versus private group and it is private right now. :)

BettyMS

I have a mild concern that a private group on such a general topic is a disservice to "mostly lurkers" like me.   I did write to Erica to get permission to join, but had no response.   Now I wonder if it is appropriate to join anyway.

I'm not sure how you previously tried to contact me, but I have added you to the group.

Users should be able to requesr group membership. A private group allows users to share information and questions only with others persuing the CoE without risking potential assessors reading them here and then knowing who they are assesing.

BettyMS

I used the "contact" email and sent a note to [email protected] on Feb 22.

But no matter.  I'm in now, but still wonder if the private group is not a disservice.   One cannot join this private group without sacrificing some anonymity

The point about being anonymous only matters with the people who are judging the submissions.. I don't think anyone intents to be anonymous in general.. But the judges aren't supposed to know whose work  they're looking at and if out posts are in the general public Weavo stream there's good chance they'd see them. I'm not sure that matters all that much, but that's the thinking.  You can always post a question to one of the public forums if you want it to be seen by all the subscribers anyway.
