Could someone with a 6" square weavette or Hazel Rose multiloom please tell me how many nails are on each side?  I have another brand and I cannot seem to get the pattern squares for the Triangle or Rectangle Shawl in Weavezine to work.  I am wondering if my set up is different. . . .

Thank you!

Hi Kathkol, I don't know much about how many pins these should have, but the site you need is:

www.eloomanation.com/

The menu on the left hand side has a link to all the various kinds of looms there were/are, plus their pattern books, and there is also a link somewhere to a diagram of the pins on each size of weavette that should help.

Thanks Caroline!  I poked around that site before I asked the question, but I must have missed the diagram.  Off to try again as soon as I get another cup of coffee!

I'm guessing you probably found the answer by now, but in case not...

On the weavette, 3 sides have 36 pins (counting the pins on the corners with the each side's total). The side from the 1 to the 3 printed on the frame has 35 pins.  Corners 1 and 3 don't have pins.

Maybe a visual will help:

 Thanks, Loominaria!

Yes, I have built  a (very) rough facsimile of a 6" and am about half way through the squares for the Triangle Rectangle shawl in Weavezine.  I gave up hope of finding a 6" for sale.

Thanks again though!

Just bopped over to Weavezine to check out the design.  Excellent!  I have some of that yarn in a green also.  Maybe it will become a gift someday.
