<p>part of my exploration into satin, the draft image shows my stitchpainter program with and without the grid turned on/off. &nbsp;I use the Woven Pixel method of using a stencil in Stitchpainter to fill my black and white areas. &nbsp; The woven cloth is on this <a href="http://www.weavolution.com/node/13834">project.</a></p>

I used 5shaft satin as the basis for the COE. Your curving is interesting and I think has a lot of creative potential. Exciting! Thanks for sharing it! P.s. I used 16/2 linen for quite a bit of the satin, but that might not bend enough for your curves. But did one piece with 16/2 linen as warp and merino wool/silk weft which was very pliable. Tried the wool/silk combined with plied silk and silk singles as warp and got stunning results ( painted warp) however the warp was so sticky because of the dense sett.
