Here is a photo of the 3 yard piece of silk paj I just finished.  I am happy with the color and the levelness.  I was using the formula for my trial #1 for 5B 5/8 which turned out to be 5B 4/6 - a color I love.

This color discharges first to fuchsia, then to an off white.

I too have been liking some of my happy accidents along the journey for my color wheel.  One accidental color was similar to a color I had bought recently in 10/2 tencel, which had been discontinued, so now I can make my own!

Good job on scaling up.  Not easy to get 5mm china silk level!

If you don't have plans for this piece whole you could do the levelness test we use for fabric. On a piece of white paper make a tick tack toe grid with nine 2" squares. Cut 2" square 9 different places in the cloth; upper left, upper middle, upper right, middle left, etc.  The squares are pasted in place with double stick tape  so that the edges all touch, no white showing thru.  It is sort of like making a chip, you see variations not visible in the big cloth.

I'll put a diagram up on google.docs 'cause I can't figure out how to do it here.

Color is lovely as is the ironed silk.
