Wonderful! Love all the designs. You have a whole new world of weaving ahead of you with this new loom!

Those are nice large towels, and what fun designs. I suspect you are going to keep these for yourself ;o)

Ha! One is gone, one is promised, one goes to my sister (with the red kitchen), two I keep, and the last one....?

These are quite nice, the red one (#2) especially. Oh, to have 16 shafts. Congratulations on your new loom.

all those classes are now paying off with 16 shafts to play with, aren't they? I hope to get to see these in person at some point in the future!

Isn't it amazing what beautiful designs you can make with a "simple" point twill. These are gorgeous!

Well, I restricted myself to a point twill threading on my new loom and put on a warp for 6 towels. I knew I wanted to make that red one with the tilting boxes - I've had my eye on that for a long time! So I started out with, I think, 8 different tieups and treadlings, and during the course of the weaving, I kept on fiddling and, in the end, I had 19 different patterns I wanted to do! Guess the rest will have to wait for the next towel warp!

Notes

These towels are my first weaving on my new Toika Eeva computer loom. What great fun it is!! It has 16 shafts and I threaded a simple point twill and then experimented with a variety of tie-ups and treadlings. The warp cotton came from R&M yarns and I really love it. Some of the weft yarns are 8/2 cotton and some are cottolin - whatever I had in my stash. After hemming, each towel measured 19 inches by 25 inches.
