That's a pretty ambitious first project, but it came out beautifully.

Thanks ladykat.  I took a two or three hour inkle class 3 or 4 years ago, so it isn't actually my first time at an inkle loom, just my first project and maiden voyage for this loom.  To teach me what to do (my memory not spanning the years), I read the opening sections of the Bress and Dixon books and watch a couple of YouTubes.

I just loaned my Dixon book to a guildmate since I am traveling this week with Inky.

Notes

My new inklette's maiden voyage.  I put off getting one for years because I couldn't find the perfect one.  I like the tensioning of the Schacht, but it is too big.  The draft is from Anne Dixon's book, page 77 - Baltic 13, the bottom pattern.

You can see that at the beginning, I hadn't cinched it in enough.  Once I got it down to where I think it should be, the challenge became to not pull it in further.  We'll see how it goes as I move up the warp.
