I used the same colors in the warp and weft, but used slightly different colors in Weavit - to show the pattern better.
Update: I used about half of this yardage to make a cape, so I'm adding pictures of that, front and back. There are slits for my arms, but they don't show up well in the picture. I used the burgundy squares to make the collar and the pleats, making the collar all one color. To make the hem fall at the same height, I made the same pleats at the waist in the back and added a casing on the inside. A piece of elastic was threaded through the casing, and it comes around to the front and attaches to the other end with a pants hook, under the cape. The elastic is removable, but this causes the area above the waist in the back to blouse out a little. I like the way it looks, and it raises the back hem.
