At first glance, I thought this was crochet...it's so rich in texture and the color is absolutely yummy!

This scarf wove up in about 5 hours, including winding the warp and dressing the loom. It was such fun that I'm teaching the technique at a local gallery in November.

The bead leno weave is open enough that the alpaca/soy yarn is comfortable to wear even in a state as warm as Florida.
