Where do you get your mop cotton, please?  I would like to try weaving with it.  Thanks, Lydia in Texas

The Mannings has a great selection of colors, as well as natural.  www.the-mannings.com.  You might have to call them- I couldn't find it listed on their web site, but they have it when I call.

I really enjoyed seeing how you use wrappings to do colour studies and the explanation on Bearish1's First Rep rug project was helpful. Thanks

Love the rug, the rose color next to the green crossed with what looks like a pinkisk brown is quite exciting, Love the hits of gold and Blue too. I really find color wrappings helpful too, not only color but stipe width as can be seen in yours too. Lovely rendition!

Notes

This was a warp rep rug by Tom Knisely in Handwoven.  The one in the magazine was in forest green- I changed the colors to my own choice.  My husband asked for a longer one, and it's been on the loom since I finished this one- back problems have kept me from being able to treadle the heavier loom.
