I am relatively new to weaving and have been weaving alpaca yarn, commercially processed.

Not all but some of it is shedding quite a lot and I would be interested to know if anyone has a remedy for this.

I am using a rigid heddle loom.

Might depend on the length of the hair used and the twist. For which I'm no professed expert. ;) Is this weaving yarn? Some knitting yarns won't work is why I ask.
