Does anyone recognize this loom?  I can't find any markings on it.           distinctive slanted side rails

I have an opportunity to buy it but it needs some cleaning and work.  The shaft lifting mechanism is pretty sticky but I think I can take care of that by removing the harnesses and using some paste wax on the wood slots and ends of the harnesses to make them slide more freely.  Also missing the crank on the back beam, but I think I can make something for that, too.  How does one find parts for looms?  Especially when you don't know the manufacturer!

Hey, that's the twin to my loom!  The only exception is the dowels sticking out of my paddle warp beam.  I swear that's the one I saw advertised on Craigslist a couple of months ago. After months of searching the internet, I also concluded it must be a Norwood.  However, the very knowledgible ManWhoWorksOnLooms at the local weaver/knitter store says he owns three norwoods, and mine is NOT a Norwood.  I have acertained that mine is made of birch, not maple. The one in your picture looks like birch too.  If you actually bought it, we should compare notes.

Whatever brand it is, you should pay attention to the short treadles - they will be a very heavy lift, need to be longer to be efficient. The wide treadle spacing may make your knees or hips painful because you are not pressing down with a straight leg.
