Does anyone know what this might be?

I have this treaure trove of inherited weaving looms and equipment (including a Macomber loom, which is why I'm posting here).  This is the only large thing that puzzles me.

For some reason the picture would only upload sideways, but the top is to the left and the bottom is to the right.

Thanks,

Susan

Part of the picture is cut off. Can you post a large version by any chance? It really just looks like an upright frame to me. Maybe it was one of the weaving bonuses?

Are there small holes drilled in the upright sides of the frame?  It may be a spool rack for sectional warping - especially if you have a sectional beam.  Otherwise it may be a frame for tapestry weaving.

Hi.  Thanks for your reply.  It isn't a spool rack as I have one of those (just figured out what it was thanks to your comment!).  I think it may just be a display for a quilt, or the beginnings of a homemade tapestry loom.  Thanks for the comment.
