I bought a used loom labeled Toijalan Kaidetehedas. It appears to be the predecessor to the Laila. I requested instructions from Toika for the Laila in English. For some reason they couldn't find the Englsh translation, so they sent the instructions in Finnish. I used an online translator, whcih was some help. My loom was assembled when I bought it. The Laila looks a lot like what I have. This is my first countermarche loom, so I am not certain it is tied up right. The tie up I have now is the best one I've come up with, but still not certian. But, I digress. Does anyone know where I can get the instruction manual written in English?

The instructions for tying up and using the loom are not usually included - when you buy a loom you get only assembly instructions.

Try Joanne Hall's "Tying up the Countermarche Loom" or "Learning to Warp the Loom", Laila Lundell's "Big Book of Weaving" (now back in print) to learn more about using your loom.
