I am a new owner of Oxaback Lilla 80, and as this is my first countermarch, I've been following both Big book of weaving and Joanne Hall's Tying up the CM loom. Everything looks great until I take the pin out. The vertical jacks go left and all the shafts drop 1.5". That makes a shed very very small. If I tye up treadles higher to get bigger shed, short and long lams are hitting each other. Joanne is discussing weighing long lams in case like that, but I hope there is some other solution. I read all there is on this site but can't find anything like this. Anyone, help, please!
p.s.
It just came to my mind that it's Covergence week, and usually all the experts are busy there. I think I better go to my old model F and forget about this young one.
