Has anybody had dealings with these guys?

The prices seem VERY low - and a lot of things seem to be out of stock, some for quite awhile.

I'm wondering about reliability and quality of product ... I can't recall having run across this site before, though the website seems to have been there since 2008 ...

I bought a swift from them on Ebay.  It's very well designed and made, and has served well.  I suspect that instead of working to keep an inventory of all their advertised goods, they make what they have materials for or feel like and sell on Ebay.  I would feel confident ordering an item that they have in stock, but would not want to try to get them to make an out-of-stock item.

Thanks!  I'm interested in the bobbin winder they sell.  Would have liked a raddle as well, but that's one of the things that has been out of stock for some unknown period of time, LOL!

I've been impressed with the two swifts I bought from them some time ago. The prices can't be beat.

I have bought two items from them and think they are wonderful. My first was the bobbin winder and my second was a warping board. I will buy from them again in the future. They are both well made and have worked great.

All their products look to be of high quality - I just wish they'd churn out a new batch of a few things, like the raddles.  But I will be getting the bobbin winder pretty soon here.  They do still have some of those.

I just got a really nice cone stand from these guys and thought I'd update this thread.  I've gotten these from a Canadian maker for the same price and they were fairly crude.  This one from FASC is very high quality.  I think my other ones are now fire wood, and I'll order more of these.

I emailed Fiber Artist Supply re: a raddle for my Ideal loom and received this reply:

Debbie,

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. We no longer sell raddles but may bring them back in the next five or so years. Thank you! Tim

Raddles are really easy to make yourself; all you need is to get a smooth piece of 1x2 stock (mine is poplar from Home Depot) and screw eyes into it every 1/2 inch.  You insert a 1/4 inch dowel through the eyes to lock the warp in place.  I use my 48" raddle on all my looms.

Made my own to, all wood with a cap over the dowels.
