I have been weaving for about 2 months now and the bug has go me.  I am finishing my fourth project and want to in the near future make a rep weave rug.  My question  is, where is the best place to get cotton rug warp and weft for this project.  My considerations are, of course, cost and color choices.  Thanks to all who respond.

What part of the country do you live in?

I live in the State of Washington.  I have looked at several websites, but what I am not able to find are the exact colors that I am looking for.  I might have to dye some cotton to get what I want, but prefer to find the colors I am looking for.  Thanks for your help.

Have you tried Paradise Fibers or the Woolery?  Both have good websites that you can visit.  Perhaps sample cards could be sent which would show colours as they are rather than something depicted on a monitor that may not be true to colour.

In addition to the above, I would try WEBS (yarn.com), Camilla Valley Farm (www.camillavalleyfarm.com), and Michael White (moderator of the Macomber group).  If he has what you're looking for, Michael's prices will generally be the lowest, but he doesn't have a huge range of stock.  I don't know about weaving help elsewhere, but both Woolery and Michael White have weavers (staff at the Woolery, or Michael's wife Cheryl) that can help with weaving questions.  If they think something is inappropriate of difficult, they will advise you to that effect.
