I’m visiting the US, more spesifically New York, in a week, and it just occurred to me that I might be able to bring back a rigid heddle loom.

Does any of you know of a LYS or any other shop that sells RHLs in New York? Preferably Manhattan, but I might be able to travel a bit. It will have to be a collapsible loom in order to fit in my suitcase :) Or if any of you know of a second hand loom for sale?

I’ve got Habu, Loops of the Loom and School Products on my list of shops to visit, have you got any other good shops to recommend for weavers?

We visited yarn shops in NYC last Feb. in preparation for our move to a new store front - by far the Yarn Company, listed above had the most dynamic relating to weaving and RH looms.

I'm not in NYC but I have an almost new 13" Glimakra Emilia RH loom for sale, with a stand and 2 extra heddles.  (I have 3 RHs and this one falls in between the 20" and the 12"  & I decided I need more space in my weaving room, so something has to go!).  It's only been used a few times & lives in a non-smoking household.  If you are interested,  let me know.  Might give you more room in your suitcase to bring some yarn and other soveniers home with!!!
