I recently acquired a sought after Baby Mac and had to agree to purchase all else the seller had listed in order to buy the Mac, so now I have a small steel 8 inch weaving width Structo loom with 4 shafts working and room for 4 more.  The 4th shaft needs a top heddle bar replacement---maybe hardware store fix?  The surface needs a good cleaning and maybe some cosmetic "make-over" with paint and elbow grease.  The side levers seem to engage and release the shafts reasonably well.  I have never seen a Structo before so not much to compare it with. I am impressed with the ratchets---wish my table loom had those same ones!   It is a cute loom and extremely sturdy.  It's not for me though.  If anyone is interested in it, I can send a pic.I have no idea what a reasonable seking price would be.  I am in Seattle, could ship it, but would prefer a pick up as it is a heavy loom, costly to ship. Weavolution has a very active and knowledgeable group called the Structo Group...check them out and write directly to them for fast response.  Also, on yahoo groups there's lovely people in a group called all_things_structo....I just went to yahoo groups and started typing in those words with the underscores included and went right to them! Best wishes!

Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction with my structo. I'll follow up with all_things_structo.  I appreciate your help!

I wouldn't paint it, just clean it up. If anyone is seeking one in original condition for antique value, painting it might be like shooting yourself in the foot!

Depending on how well it weaves, the Structo 240-4 (what you have at 8" wide) seems to fall in the $100-125 range. Some people may pay more if comes with the original spools and manuals. Less if it is missing parts, (like cranks), or has parts that need to replaced (like a rusted-beyond-repair reed).

People like these little looms for the "cute" factor and for sampling. I would approach the guild in your area first, so you won't have to deal with shipping if you don't want to. I am sure you'll find someone who will appreciate it!

I would be interested if you want to sell it. Ellen
