I just finished warping my new to me 40 inch 4 harness AVL Home loom.  I used to weave on an AVL 60 inch dobby production loom and have woven on Leclerc, Schacht, Louet, Loomcraft, Gallinger looms.  I think I just found a loom that is truly easy to warp, easy to tie up, easy to treadle and easy to weave on.   I have only woven 5 feet so it may be too soon to know for sure.  I think I will see how much it will cost to add 4 more harnesses.

Smart looking Loom! I know what you mean about really liking looms that are quick and easy to warp. I prefer weaving on my Louet Megado, but my Louet Magic is much quicker to warp up. Guess which loom I weave on the most!

I am thinking of buying a used AVL home loom. Do you warp from the front on this loom?

I warp from front to back on all my looms, except when using a sectional beam.  You can do either.
