Hi all,
I'm debating purchasing some 13200 ypp singles linen to use as warp. Is that going to work? I have never worked with linen...though I would probably start with something easier for practice, I'm just wondering whether 40/2 cotton would be easier to work with and which of them would be stronger. (I don't know whether the linen is tow linen or "regular" linen, and I don't know if it's wet or dry spun - this is an eBay find so there isn't much info available.)
Normally I'd just use 60/2 silk, which is about the same weight and super strong, but I'm doing some work in cross-dyeing and need a cellulose fiber.
Thoughts?
