I just looked at the new Weavolution Events Calendar at all the fiber events coming up. I had no idea there were so many! A thought....
What if there were Weavolution meet-ups at all these fiber events? I'm bummed that I missed the one at the NY Sheep and Wool Festival last fall.(Scroll down to Rhinebeck Follow up) Everyone had a good time. Just as importantly, Weavolution got good exposure.
It's pretty simple to set up a meet-up. All you really need are a few Weavo members, a table, chairs and a computer with internet access. Weavolution will mail an 18" by 48" banner along with the postcards and buttons to anyone willing to hold a Meetup. You can post your meet-up here and with guilds near the event. Set up wherever you have a captive audience - cafeteria, vendors area, registration area and have fun!
