Notes

This throw was woven using two strands at a time with the yarn side-by-side.  Once the weaving was completed, I cross stitched the 23rd Psalms on the blanket.

This yarn is so soft, once you get close to 3/4 of completing the weaving, more tension is added although this particular loom does continuous weave without wasting yarn.  The yarn in a couple of areas started to separate since it's softly spun, so what I did was took the two broken ends, twisted them together, breathe on it and rubbed vigourously between my hands to fused the yarn back to it's self since I didn't want to cut it.  Plus I have a workable sponge and a needle felting tool make by Clover that holds 3 felting needles and needle felted the yarn together which worked.  Plus that added more strength to that part of the yarn.  The weaving was a success, but I will never use this yarn again for weaving on my Spriggs Adjustable Loom.  Next time I weave a blanket on this loom, I'm using Brown Sheep.  I like the way Brown Sheep Wool Yarn Looms and it's strong enough and suitable for weaving although it's a single ply.

The person I made this throw for was very happy.  Plus the Lady that owns the Carol's Fiber Creek Looms (I think that's the  name) that builds the Triangular, Squares, and Now Rectangular Adjustable Looms is writing a new book with photos and instructions on making different projects using these looms.  She wants to add a photo and instructions how I made this throw plus a copy of the cross stitch pattern on embroidering the wording that reads the 23 Psalms.  I also drew the pattern on two seated lambs in a mirror image of each other on the bottom of the loom to dress it up.
